Heating Tariffs to Rise Starting October 1

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) today adjusted electricity prices generated at combined heat and power plants, as well as the heating energy tariffs supplied through centralized systems.

ANRE approved the following regulated electricity prices generated at combined heat and power plants (excluding VAT): the price for electricity produced by JSC „Termoelectrica” set at 454 bani/kWh; the price for electricity produced by JSC „CET-Nord” set at 457 bani/kWh.

At the same time, the following heating energy tariffs supplied through centralized district heating systems were approved: the tariff for heating energy supplied by JSC „Termoelectrica” at 2,854 lei/Gcal; the tariff for heating energy supplied by JSC „CET-Nord” at 3,052 lei/Gcal; the tariff for heating energy supplied by JSC „Apă-Canal Chișinău” at 3,134 lei/Gcal; the tariff for heating energy supplied by MI „Antermo” at 3,187 lei/Gcal; the tariff for heating energy supplied to consumers by the Comrat Heating Networks and Plants MI at 3,342 lei/Gcal.

The new prices and tariffs will take effect on October 1, 2022.
