The 59 biomass boiler plants built by SG Green Farm consume thousands of tons of local biofuel each year instead of natural gas. This means a direct reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a contribution to the country's energy independence.
Producing biofuel from agricultural and forestry waste solves two problems at once: it gives a second life to production waste and provides the local market with clean thermal energy. A closed cycle — from field to boiler plant — minimizes the environmental footprint of every ton of heat.
